Boy Scouts of America Prepared for Life

Welcome

Since 1939 Troop 240 has been helping the boys of Ypsilanti develop the skills they need to be successful throughout life. These skills help them to uphold the twelve points of the Scout Law: A scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent.

We have a varied program driven by the desires of the boys. They decide what they want to do and our adults help to make it happen.

We meet Sundays from 3:30 to 5:30 at First Presbyterian Church Ypsilanti.  The church is located at 300 North Washington Street.  We have a loving, caring home at FPCY and we happily help the church when needed for service projects.

Troop 240 is lead by our Scoutmaster Glenn Carter and his team of Assistant Scoutmasters.  If you would like more information about Troop 240 please contact them by email at scoutmasters@troop240.net.
